Jeng & Umi

Jeng and Umi approached me during the early stages of my journey as a celebrant. Together, we embarked on a delightful collaboration to capture the essence of their young love. We spent a couple of days meticulously crafting the perfect location and script that would reflect their unique story.

As fate would have it, their arrival in Darwin led us to the breathtaking Esplanade Beach, where a rehearsal unfolded, and they fell head over heels for the spot. Working with Jeng and Umi was an absolute pleasure; the more time I spent with them, the more their genuine affection for each other shone through. Jeng's tenderness and care towards Umi were truly heartwarming.

In spite of their youth, their love story has spanned an impressive seven years, often referred to as a high school sweetheart romance. Throughout their journey, they've weathered life's highs and lows, made pivotal decisions that shaped each other's lives, and explored countless destinations together, spanning from Vietnam to Australia.

I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful. Grateful because they entrusted me to officiate their intimate ceremony, even though they were my very first clients. I also consider myself lucky, as their love story has deepened my belief in the enduring power of true love.

My heartfelt wish is that their love continues to thrive and endure through the ages. I eagerly look forward to being a part of their future as a friend, witnessing the beautiful chapters of their love story yet to unfold.
