Rosie & Ranjith

On February 10th, 2024, I had the distinct honor of officiating the union of Rosie and Ranjith, who have shared five beautiful years together and decided to publicly affirm their commitment to one another. They approached me early in the year to help organize their wedding, opting for a small elopement amidst the visit of their European family members to Darwin.

We held several meetings to meticulously plan every aspect of their elopement, from decorations to catering, as they opted for our full package. It was an exhilarating experience, undoubtedly one of the most memorable projects of my career. On the special day, we arrived at the venue at midday to begin setup and complete the decorations. Rosie, returning from her makeup session, was moved to tears and expressed immense relief, remarking, "the pressure is now off my shoulders." This moment of reassurance energized our team for the upcoming ceremony.

Throughout the ceremony, emotions ran high, with tears and laughter intertwining seamlessly. As a celebrant, witnessing the genuine engagement and happiness of the couple's family members and close friends was profoundly rewarding.

Rosie and Ranjith's love story is truly inspiring, having weathered numerous challenges together. With both bringing their own children into the relationship, their love blossomed as they seamlessly integrated their families, strengthening their bond on the foundation of love, respect, and admiration.

Following the exchange of vows, rings, and the cutting of the cake, Rosie and Ranjith were joyfully pronounced husband and wife. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to them for entrusting me with the honor of turning their vision into reality, and to our decoration team for their exceptional work in bringing the couple's dream to life.
